Your Life is a Team Effort: The Art of Allowing Support

‘You are never alone’ is common saying. But, how often do we really feel those supporting us? If you do, count yourself lucky. For the rest of us, read on to better understand this support and how to access it. The art of allowing support.

The truth is, you have a spiritual support team.

For any challenge, goal, growth and soul development you are working on in this life, there is a wealth of others who want to assist you.

Say you wanted to work on healing from addiction. Your soul would incarnate into a strong family history of addition and environment which would foster this and addictive behaviors. You, then have the challenge, of growing out of it and healing from it to evolve your soul higher.

There are others, here and on the other side, who have similar interests in this particular area and want to help you grow, learn, heal and evolve in this particular realm.

You may struggle (seemingly) alone for years, having ups and downs, relapses, coming close and falling. However, just knowing there are others supporting you may help shorten your struggles.

Asking and allowing others to help can greatly increase you time to healing, recovery and a highest path.

No matter what the goal, issue, challenge, growth or development, there are souls who have similar interests, and actually delight in supporting you on your path to healing and the highest good.

This can be the whole range from learning how to manage the loss of a child, healing addiction or abuse, developing gifts, expressing creativity, being a good parent or partner, learning financial responsibility, loving yourself, elevating a profession, developing your skills, being happy, and many, many more.

We are all here to evolve our soul and life in some capacity.

And when doing so, we contribute to the greater good. It makes it easier for others and we all benefit from growth and development. The art of allowing support…

Accessing your support team

  1. Understand that they are there, they exist. The first goal of this article is just to help you realize that there is a spiritual support team there for you. Some call them spirit guides, some call them angels or guardian angels. They are your soul connected spiritual family. (Keep in mind, our pets can also be part of this team.) Take a moment and be open to this. Also, feel the comfort in this.
  2. Remember to ask for assistance. One of the flip sides to having been given freedom to choose, is that no one can help us without our permission. We have to ask. The second goal of this article is to help us remember to ask. Just a simple heartfelt request will do. A simple thank you, is also a nice inclusion.
  3. Being open to receive. This is probably the hardest one. Remembering to take time just to be in a space of receiving, quieting the mind and opening up. This could be feelings, messages, thoughts or an inner knowing. Guidance is often gentle and subtle, yet strong and present. The third goal of this article is to help us open up more to receiving guidance, love and assistance.

The last secret that I’ll share, is that:

When we allow others to assist us, they also benefit.

Those who help us get to make a contribution and use their skills and talents. It helps them on their path, as well. They actually also get ‘spiritual credit’, if you will, for the assist. Similar to how stats are scored in basketball. One person makes the goal, but others get credit for ‘the assist.’ Letting another assist you is only helping you more, as well as helping them. It’s fun to know that, isn’t it?

There are also professionals who can help you increase the connection with your spiritual support team, work on these aspects to help you make the most out of this life and live your highest self, no matter what the challenge or goal.

I love helping clients in this manner and would love to help you!

Blessings to you,
